Former logistics executive joins FreightFriend as Chief Commercial Officer

FreightFriend is thrilled to welcome Matt Kemp to the team as Chief Commercial Officer. Matt comes to the company after years in logistics and freight technology and with significant experience leading both B2B and B2C companies to successful acquisition.

Most recently, Matt worked in private equity, where he participated in a successful IPO. Prior to that, he served as both CMO and CTO at BlueGrace Logistics, a B2B tech-driven 3PL, and contributed to generating millions in revenue in just three years.

Matt believes in the value of using technology to augment relationships across logistics partners, making him an ideal fit for his role at FreightFriend.

"[Founder and CEO] Noam Frankel and the FreightFriend team have leveraged their industry experience to build an incredibly powerful software that truly enables shippers and brokers to make the most of their carrier relationships," he said. "I was impressed by both the product and vision and am excited to be a part of their next chapter."

We are very excited to bring Matt on board as we continue to improve the software and help shippers, brokers, and carriers build and manage relationships in a trusted ecosystem and then match the right capacity to the right freight.

Please join us in welcoming him to the team.
