Noam Frankel


With more than 35 years in the industry, Noam was one of the original founders of American Backhaulers (later acquired by C.H. Robinson in 1999), where he served as COO. He then moved to Echo Global Logistics, where he built their truckload division. After his tenure there, Noam founded Optimal Freight, a freight brokerage, that was acquired by TFI International in 2018. Noam has an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Matt Kemp


Matt spent the past 20 years growing and driving B2C and B2B companies to successful acquisition outcomes, with a focus on managing marketing plans, sales processes, back-office operations, and technology strategy. Most recently, he held both the CMO and CTO roles at BlueGrace Logistics. He also has worked in private equity, where he participated in a successful IPO. Matt has an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Florida.

Jeff Hanson


Before coming to FreightFriend, Jeff spent eight years at a top three 3PL, moving through the organization from scheduling to enterprise operations, where he led a top performing team and managed some of the company's largest accounts. Jeff graduated from Illinois State University with a B.S. in Construction Management.


Phoebe Noce


Prior to FreightFriend, Phoebe consulted for a number of national and local brands across several industries. Before that, she spent several years as the head of marketing and creative at a digital media startup. She was also previously an editor at Cooking Light magazine, a Time Inc. publication. Phoebe holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a B.J. in magazine journalism from the University of Missouri.
