Noam Frankel
FOUNDER & CEO
With more than 35 years in the industry, Noam was one of the original founders of American Backhaulers (later acquired by C.H. Robinson in 1999), where he served as COO. He then moved to Echo Global Logistics, where he built their truckload division. After his tenure there, Noam founded Optimal Freight, a freight brokerage, that was acquired by TFI International in 2018. Noam has an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Laura McDaniel
VP OF MARKETING
Laura brings decades of B2B/D2C marketing experience to FreightFriend. She has considerable prowess in demand generation, thought leadership, and digital marketing strategies with two-sided marketplaces. In addition, Laura brings a high-agency mindset to FreightFriend with her resourceful and can-do approach to solving complex problems. Her passion for sustainability and wellness gives her a unique perspective on carrier experience.
Dimitrios Loukadakis
LEAD SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Dimitrios is a software engineer with extensive experience developing, maintaining, and improving large-scale distributed applications. Prior to joining FreightFriend, Dimitrios was a Lead Software Engineer at Project44.
Taryn Daker
DIRECTOR OF CUSTOMER SUCCESS
Taryn has spent her entire career managing carriers and customers in the freight industry. She has held numerous roles at a variety of top supply chain companies such as C.H. Robinson, Uber, Shipwell, and FleetOps. Taryn manages all of FreightFriend's customers and carriers. Ms. Daker has a degree from DePaul University.
